EDWIN CAMPBELL

Edwin Campbell grew up in Silver Spring, MD, where he attended Paint Branch High School. A standout athlete in both football and track & field, he earned numerous honors, including All-American and All-Met recognitions in track. He went on to compete at the University of Connecticut (UCONN), where he won two Big East championships and earned four All-Big East selections. During his collegiate career, he also achieved a #1 regional ranking in the 400m dash in 2005. Edwin graduated from UCONN with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology.

Since 2008, Edwin has been coaching and training athletes throughout the DC metro area. Known for designing challenging, results-driven workouts, he focuses on teaching fundamentals and proper technique to help athletes maximize performance while minimizing injury risk. As a first-generation American of Nicaraguan descent, Edwin takes pride in building strong, supportive relationships with the athletes he mentors.

Edwin brings over 15 years of experience developing athletes’ form, coordination, balance, sprint mechanics, power, top-end speed, and flexibility. His expertise will be instrumental in elevating PBP’s player development system, as speed and explosiveness are critical to success in any sport.
